Paul founded this company after eleven years inside a big one, so the rules are written from the technician's side of the windshield. Jobs are scheduled by a person who knows the county, not an algorithm. You name the failed part plainly, you quote before you wrench, and you go home when the day is done. You sleep in your own bed every night. The map is one county, so the far job is Stilwell, not St. Louis.
Garage Door Technician
Full-time. Two or more years of repair work, springs and openers both, and the judgment to tell a homeowner a repair is not worth their money when it is not. Clean driving record, your own hand tools (the specialty gear is provided), and comfort with a homeowner watching you work, because here they are invited to. A truck goes home with you. Saturdays rotate across the whole crew, Paul included.
Apprentice
Full-time, no door experience required, mechanical sense absolutely required. You will ride with Paul or Marcus, learn how a door is balanced before you learn how it breaks, and be trusted with real work as fast as you earn it. Several of the best technicians we know started exactly here, carrying springs and asking questions.
